2010 Year End Update
Vechulai had a great year. Look at how much we did:
Speaker Series: Wow. 56 venues, even more talks, and over 2,000 audience members. Vechulai partnered with community outreach centers, universities, high schools, synagogues, and the Aish Connection's Speakers Bureau. The crowds were varied and diverse and included students, singles, young couples, professionals, families, kids, and seniors.
Trips: Vechulai partnered with Aish Connections and RAJE. We led trips for groups of college students and young professionals. These trips included 3 ten-day programs based out of New York City and a two-week bonanza to Switzerland and Israel. 150 people participated on these amazing and inspiring programs.

Innovation: Under the auspices of the Afikim Foundation, we are developing ToTally Online - the world's first online Hebrew School. ToTally Online is an interactive, engaging, and complete Hebrew School environment online for children ages 8 - 11. Nothing like this has ever been done and the technology is truly amazing. The first class is January 9, 2011.
Books: Our third book - Discover This - was released this year. The response is overwhelming. Look what people are saying:
- "Your book is excellent. Didn't plan on reading it but was intrigued from the back cover. Now I can't put it down."
- "Your book is awesome."
- "I breezed through the first couple of chapters - which I think are extremely well-written - and the concepts are mind-blowing."
- "I finished your book and it was really great! If only there was a way to get one in the hands of every college student!!"
Rabbinical Training: The Jerusalem Kollel, Ner Le'Elef, Yeshiva University, and others used Vechulai's consulting services to train new rabbis and inspire their seasoned veterans. Presentations included the classic Glue Factor word-of-mouth recruitment program and the debut of Talking Points - the secrets of effective communication. Over 300 people participated in these programs.
Online: Don't forget our amazing online programs and classes. In partnership with Project Sinai and aish.com we released full-length classes and inspiring video shorts. You can watch them here:
Tax Exempt: This year the IRS officially designated Vechulai a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Your contributions to Vechulai are tax deductible. Help a great cause and get a great tax benefit as well. Give 'til it hurts!

And we are just starting. More great stuff is planned for next year including:
- The re-release of the wildly popular Everything You Want Is Really Jewish (fundraising has already begun to design a new cover, fix the typos, possibly re-typeset to a new size, and print 500 new copies to replace the sold out first edition)
- The publication of a new - currently secret - book, plus an amazing and innovative accompanying parallel project
- The launch of the ToTally Online Hebrew School
- More tours, trips, Shabbos programs, and visits
- And so much more it is too lengthy to list
Thank you for your help, encouragement, and continued support.
